Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information SellerSignal (operated by Ven Ventures LLC, Charlotte, NC) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers visitors to sellersignal.io, waitlist signups, and subscribers, and it also explains how we handle property-owner information that appears in the product.

1. Information we collect from you

• Waitlist: your email address, plus technical details sent with the request (IP address, browser user-agent, referring page, and campaign/UTM parameters) used to understand where signups come from and to prevent abuse.
• Subscribers: your name, email, selected ZIP codes, subscription tier, and product activity (e.g., which leads you mark contacted) needed to operate your account.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive subscription status and a customer reference from Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Email: we send sign-in links and service emails to the address you provide. We do not sell your email or share it with advertisers.

2. Property-owner information in the product

The leads shown in SellerSignal are derived from public records, such as county property, code-enforcement, and tax records. This information is already publicly available from government sources; we organize, score, and present it for real estate prospecting. We do not provide consumer reports, and our terms prohibit subscribers from using this data for credit, insurance, employment, housing-eligibility, or other FCRA-regulated decisions. If you are a property owner and would like your record suppressed from SellerSignal, email us at the address below and we will remove it from future deliveries.

3. How we use information

• To provide and improve the Service, deliver leads, and operate your account.
• To send transactional email (sign-in links, receipts, service notices) and, if you opt in, product updates. You can unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time.
• To measure marketing (which pages and campaigns bring visitors) and to prevent spam and abuse.

4. What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
• We do not share subscriber lists or activity with other subscribers.

5. Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run SellerSignal: Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider (transactional email), and our hosting/CDN providers. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.

6. Data retention

Waitlist and account records are kept while relevant to operating the Service. You may request deletion of your account data at any time; we will delete it except where we must retain records for billing, tax, or legal purposes.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (TLS in transit, restricted server access) to protect data. No system is perfectly secure; please use a secure email account, since sign-in links are delivered by email.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the updated version at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
